Patna : Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases surged to 31,691 in Bihar on July 23, 2020, with 1,625 new cases being reported from different parts of the state including 307 from Patna on the days. A total of 20,959 patients have been cured till date in the state. The recovery rate is 66.14%. The COVID-19 death toll. Patna accounts for 4,786 positive cases.
Meanwhile, the Corona death toll in Patna increased to 35 including five doctors and a BJP MLC. In Bhagalpur, the death toll stands at 19 while in Gaya it is 13 and in Darbhanga 10. The death toll in Bhojpur has climbed to 7 while it has jumped to 8 in Nalanda. East Champaran District has reported 9 deaths while West Chaparan has reported five deaths. Muzaffarpur and Saran districts too have reported 9 deaths each due to Coronavirus.
