Patna : Bihar Government on July 21, 2020, allowed 2006 batch IAS officer and Special Secretary, General Administration Department (GAD) Shobhendra Kumar Chaudhary to take voluntary retirement with effect from July 18, 2020. Chaudhary had applied for voluntary retirement on July 18, 2020. The GAD issued a notification to this effect on July 21.
Meanwhile, Chandrashekhar Singh, a 2006 batch IAS officer and Director, Panchayati Raj, has been given additional charge of Labour Commissioner.
Sanjiv Kumar, an IAS officer of 2012 batch sand Director Science & Technology, has been given additional charge of Joint Secretary, Health Department.
Shailja Sharma, a 2013 batch IAS officer and Joint Secretary, RCD, has been given additional charge of Joint Secretary, Minor QWaster Resources Department.
