Ara : Some miscreants killed a man by firing rounds at him from point blank range at Kapurdihara village under Tarari police station in the late evening on July 20, 2020, killing him on the spot.
Later, the accused surrendered before police. The deceased was identified as Shashi Bhushan Singh, son of Ram Pukar Singh of Kapurdihara village under Tarari police station in Bhojpur district. Police recovered countrymade pistol on the information of the asccuased Pankaj Singh of the same village. Police brought the body over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The reason behind the incident is still to be ascertained. An FIR has been lodged with Tarari police station and police are investigating the matter.
SHO, Tarari police station, said that Shashi Bhushan Singh used to tease a girl of the village that caused enmity between him and the family of the girl. The matter took an ugly turn and when Shashi Bhushan Singh was going towards canal at the village, Pankaj Singh pumped three bullets into his body.The villagers rushed him to the Primary Health Centre but he succumbed to his injuries at the PHC. Later, Pankaj Singh also surrendered before police.
