New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on July 1221, 120210, condoled the passing away of the Madhya Pradesh Governor Lalji Tandon, 85. He died in early hoursa on July 21, 2020.
In a tweet, PM Narendra Modi described Tandon as one who was “well-versed with constitutional matters”. He said, “Shri Lalji Tandon will be remembered for his untiring efforts to serve society. He made a mark as an effective administrator, always giving importance to public welfare. Anguished by his passing away.” Prime Minister also recalled Lsalji Tandon’s long association with former Prime Minister Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
Lalji Tandon was also a former Governor of Bihar.
