Patna : Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases climbed to 24,967 in Bihar on July 18, 2020, afternoon, with 137 persons testing positive to it in Patna District and 85 in Muzaffarpur District. Altogether 3,581 persons have tested positive till date in Patna district. The Corona death toll in Bihar has climbed to 201 including 28 in Patna, 16 in Bhagalpur, 13 in Gaya, and ten in Darbhanga.
East and West Champaran Districts in North Bihar reported 34 and 43 Corona cases respectively on July 18 while Bhagalpur has reported 40 cases.
A central team has been deployed to Bihar to assist the State in assessment of COVID management in the state and to provide all necessary support.
