Bokaro (Jharkhand) : DPS Bokaro, an institution synonymous with excellence, has surpassed all its previous records and has etched its name in the annals of the school history by performing remarkably at the CBSE 10th and 12th examinations this year.

As per the CBSE guidelines and taking into consideration five compulsory papers (Two Language Papers, Science, Maths and Social Studies) in which English is a compulsory paper; the school has produced the state topper in Class X CBSE Examination with  Harsh Rai scoring a stupendous 99 % making  not only his alma mater but also the city and the state proud at the national level. It may be  mentioned here that two students of DPS Bokaro Harsh Rai (99 %) and Soumya Thakur (98.20%) have made their way to be among the top five in the state of Jharkhand.

Altogether 19 students of the school are among the top ten in Bokaro district, including state topper Harsh Rai (99%), Soumya Thakur (98.20%), Saksham Kumar (97.80%), Aameya Dewansh, Harshit Kumar, Nishit Roshan, Rohit Verma (97.60%), Aditya Raj, Anshu Priya, Anushka Srivastava, Ayush Amlan (97.40%), Ayushi Sinha (97.20%), Asmi Srivastava, Atithi Chaihan, Harsh Bihany (97 %), Akshit Vrat, Kushagra Patodia, Shikhar Sharma and Tejaswini (96.80%).

Expressing happiness over the exam results, DPS Bokaro Principal A S Gangwar said that the students have made the school and the state proud by achieving outstanding results. He attributed the success of the children to the teamwork of the school teachers, hard work of the children and positive support of their parents. He said that earlier, the result of CBSE 12th board examination was also heartening and reflected the relentless efforts put in by the school.
