Patna : Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases surged to 15,039 in Bihar on July 11, 2020, afternoon, with 709 more persons including 133 from Patna, 75 from Bhagalpur, 69 from Nawada, 39 from Jamui, 38 from Gaya, 38 from Muzaffarpur, 27 from Saran, 24 from Samastipur,  23 from Gopalganj, and 20 from Saharsa, testing positive to it during last 24 hours.

According to State Health Department sources, 19 persons have tested COVID-19 positive in Begusarai, 18 in Purnia, 17 in Katihar, 17 in Vaishali, 16 in Siwan, 15 in Munger, 12 in Khagaria, 12 in Supaul, 11 in Madhepura, and 11 in East Champaran. Nine persons in Madhubani, seven each in Banka, Jehanabad, Lakhisarai, Buxar and Bhojpur, six in Nalanda, five each in Sheikhpura, Araria and Arwal, four in Rohtas, three in Kaimur, two in Sheohar, sand one in Darbhanga also tested positive.

On the positive side, 10,251 patients have recovered till date in the state. The Corona death toll in Bihar stands at 119.
