Patna : Patna DM Kumar Ravi on July 9, 2020, issued directives to administrative and police officials at a  meeting for successful and effective implementation of lockdown enforced for seven days in the district starting July 10, 2020.

Senior police and administrative officials including Patna SSP Upendra Kumar Sharma, Traffic SP D Amarkesh, all SHOs besides SDOs, SDPOs, BDOs, and COs were connected through video-conferencing. The meeting was held at the Auditorium of Hindi Bhawan. During the meeting, the DM informed officials about provisions of lockdown and asked them to implement them strictly. He directed all the office
heads to ensure wearing of masks by the employees at their offices.
DM Ravi also directed to make mandatory use of masks in markets and crowded places besides ensuring compliance of social distancing. He said that if a person is found wandering without mask, a fine of Rs 50 should be slapped on him. In urban areas, all executive officers
and police officers and officers of Municipal Corporation have been authorised while in rural areas, all BDOs have been authorised for
this.
The DM directed to carry out sanitisation and fogging in all six circles at Patna. He also ordered for spraying solution of sodium hypochlorite for this fire-fighting vehicles can be used. He also directed for phasewise deployment of employees at control
room set up for exchanging information related to Corona with telephone number- 0612- 2249964.
