New Delhi : The number of Coronavirus patients declared cured jumped to 4,56,830 in India at 8 am on July 8, 2020, an increase of 16,883 during last 24 hours exceeding the number of active cases by 1,91,886.
In Maharashtra alone, 1,18,558 patients have been cured followed by 74,217 in Delhi, 71,116 in Tamilnadu, 26,720 in Gujarat, 19,627 in UP, 15,790 in West Bengal, 13,645 in Haryana, 11,098 in Karnataka, 9,284 in Bihar, and 8,329 in Assam.
Coronavirus death toll has climbed to 20,642 in India with 482 new deaths being reported from different parts of the country during last 24 hours including in 224 in Maharashtra, 65 in Tamilnadu, 50 in Delhi, 25 in West Bengal, 18 in UP, 17 in Gujarat, and 15 in Karnataka. In Bihar, the death toll crossed hundred mark reaching 104 on July 8, 2020, morning, from 98 on July 7, 2020. In Jharkhand, COVID death toll has increased to 22.
