Patna : Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases rose to 10,205 in Bihar on July 1, 2020, night, with 129 more persons including 19 from Siwan District, 14 from Supaul, 15 from Patna, eight from Bhagalpur, three from Banka, three from West Champaran, and seven from Begusarai, testing positive to it. In all, 217 persons tested positive to Coronavirus in Bihar on the day.
In Supaul District in North Bihar, six cases were reported from Nirmali, two from Raghopur, two from Kishanpur, and two from Supaul town, and two from village Ekma under Supaul Block. In West Champaran District in North Bihar, three cases were reported from Bettiah.
In Siwan District in North Bihar, nine cases were reported from Siwan town, three from Goreakothi, two from Basantpur, and one from Daroundha. In neighbouring Gopalganj District, two cases were reported from Gopalganj.
In Patna District, 10 cases were reported from Patna town and one each from Mithapur, Fatuha, and Kankarbagh. In Bhagalpur District in eastern Bihar, three cases were reported from Jagdishpur, two from Sanhaula, and one each from Gopalpur, Naugachhia, and Ismailpur. In neighbouring Banka District, three cases were reported from Bounsi.
In Bhojpur District, one case each was reported from Tarari, Sahar, and Ara. In Gaya District, one case each was reported from Gaya and Guraru.
In Begusarai District in North Bihar, six cases were reported from Bakhri and one from Begusarai town. In Araria District in eastern Bihar, one case each was reported from Araria, Raniganj, and Jokihat. In East Champaran, one case was reported from Bankatwa.
