Ara : Police recovered body of a man from the bank of river Ganga at Neknam Tola under Barhara police station in Bhojpur District on June 24, 2020, morning, and brought it over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The deceased was identified as Kush Yadav, 36, son of Ram Ji Yadav of Gausganj locality under Ara Town police station in Bhojpur district.
SHO Ara town police station, said that Kush Kumar slipped into river Gangi at Ara near Gausganj locality under Ara town police station four days ago when he had gone to attend call of nature. Police and his family members searched for him. Even a team of NDRF was pressed into operation but it could not find the body. On June 24, 2020, villagers saw a body on the bank of river Ganga at Neknam Tola under Barhara police station and informed the police. On getting information, family members also rushed to the spot and identified the deceased with his clothes.
