Patna : Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases rose to 8,180 in Bihar on June 24, 2020, with 130 more persons including 25 from Muzaffarpur, six from Gaya, 24 from Siwan, eight from Aurangabad, seven from Samastipur, four from Darbhanga, and four from Bhojpur testing positive to it. The new patients are in 2-60 year age group and authorities concerned are looking into their infection trail.Coronavirus death toll stands at 56 in Bihar
In Muzaffarpur District in North Bihar, 8 cases were reported from Marwan, 9 cases were reported from Sakra, five from Mushahari, and one each Kurhani, Paroo, and Motipur. In Patna District, four cases were reported from Patna City. In Saharsa District, three cases were reported from Kahra.
In Samastipur District in North Bihar, five cases were reported from Policeline and two from Shivajinagar. In Gaya District, five cases were reported from Tekari. In Arwal District, four cases were reported from Kaler. In Aurangabad, two cases each were reported from Daudnagar and Madanpur, and one each from Haspura, Obra, Nabinagar and Aurangabad.
In Madhubani District in North Bihar, four cases were reported from Madhepur and two from Rajnagar. In Siwan, seven cases were reported from Goreakothi, 13 from Basantpur, two from Daraundha, and one each from Jiradei and Panchrukhi. In Bhojpur District, two cases were reported from Koelwar,and one each from Bihia and Agiaon.
In Darbhanga District, three cases were reported from Keoti Runwar and one from Darbhanga.
