Patna : Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases jumped to 7,602 in Bihar on June 21, 2020, with 99 more persons including 32 from Darbhanga District, 18 from Samastipur, 9 from Bhagalpur, 9 from Banka, five from Patna, and four from Siwan testing positive to it. The new patients are in 3-61 year age group and the authorities concerned are ascertaining their infection trail. The COVID-19 death toll stands at 52 in Bihar.

In Darbhanga District in North Bihar, five cases were reported from Gaura Bauram, five from Biraul, 11 from Hayaghat, three from Tardih, five from Darbhanga, and one each from Bahadurpur, Alinagar, and Hanumannagar.

In Patna District, one case each was reported from Patna City, Kidwaipuri, and Bhattacharya Road, and two from Patna. In Rohtas District, two cases were reported from Sasaram, two from Akorhi Gola, and one from Kochas. In Bhojpur District, two cases were reported from Koelwar. In Jehanabad, one case was reported from Modanganj.

In Samastipur District, six cases were reported from Khanpur, five from Rosera, four from Warisnagar, two from Kalyanpur, and one from Hasanpur. In Banka District, four cases were reported from Devda, two from Belhar, two from Banka, and one from Chandan. In neighbouring Bhagalpur District, eight cases were reported from Pirpainti and one from Sultanganj.

In Kishanganj District, three cases were reported from Thakurganj. In Madhepura District, one case each was reported from Madhepura and Kumarkhand. In Siwan District, four cases were reported from Guthani. In West Champaran District, one case each was reported from Nautan and Bettiah. One case was reported from Vaishali in Vaishali district.
