Ara : One person was killed while two others were injured when a speeding car dashed against a tree on roadside near HP Petrol Pump on Ara-Mohania NH-30 under Dhangai police station in Bhojpur district on June 17, 2020, late evening. The locals admitted the injured to Jagdishpur Sub-Divisional Hospital but the doctors referred them to Ara Sadar Hospital.
On getting information, police recovered the body and brought it over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The police also seized the car. The deceased was identified as Shubham Kumar, 21, son of Shrawan Kumar of Saraiyaganj Gopal Ji Lane under Muzzaffarpur police station in Muzzaffarpur district, while the injured were identified as Shrawan Kumar and Raj Kumar.
SHO, Dhangai police station, said that Shrawam Kumar deals in utensils. He along with his son Shubham Kumar and his friend Raj Kumar had gone to Mirzapur in Uttar Pradesh for marketing. When they were returning, their car being driven by Shubham Kumar dashed against a tree on roadside on Ara-Mohania NH-30 under the police station on June 17, 2020, late evening, in which Shubham Kumar was killed on the spot while his father Shrawan Kumar and friend Raj Kumar were seriously injured.
