Ara : A man was battered to death by his younger brothers and nephews at Shahpur Town under Shahpur police station in Bhojpur district on Hune 18, 2020. The deceased was identified as Nirmal Yadav, 50, son of late Ram Nath Yadav of village Pipara under Shahpur police station.
Police recovered the body and brought it over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. An FIR has been lodged with Shahpur police station in this regard and police are investigating the matter. Property dispute is said to be the reason behind Nirmal Yadav’s murder. The deceased lived at Shahpur Nagar Panchayt ward No 1 under Shahpur police station.
SHO, Shahpur police station, Avinash Kumar said that Nirmal Yadav was battered to death by his brothers and nephew at Shahpur Nagar Panchayat Ward No 1 and escaped from the scene. He said that the sons of the deceased blamed their uncles and cousin brothers for the murder of their father.
