Patna : Bihar Governor cum Chancellor of State Universities Fagu Chauhan on June 15, 2020, reviewed the functioning of eight universities : Patna University, Nalanda Open University (NOU), Patna, Aryabhatta Knowledge University (AKU), Patna, Maulana Mazharul HaqArabi Persian University, Patna, Purnia University, Lalit Narain Mithila University, Darbhanga, Kameshwar Singh Darbhanga Sanskrit University, and B N Mandal University, Madhepura, at Raj Bhavan Conference Hall.
Governor Chauhan directed all the universities to hold all the pending examinations at the earliest and declare their results by September -October 2020. He said that an Advisory Committee comprising Vice-Chancellors (VCs) was being constituted to bring in uniformity in entire examination system in all the univrersities. He also said that the admission to UG classes should be arranged in such a manner that the successful students of CBSE and ISC also get admission in state universities.
