Ara : A married woman committed suicide by consuming poison at village Bara under Bihia police station in Bhojpur district ion June 15, 2020, morning.
Police brought the body over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The deceased was identified as Suman Devi, wife of Loknath Ram of Bara Kharauli village under Bihia police station. An FIR has been lodged with Bihia police station in this regard and police have arrested husband of the deceased Loknath Ram.
SHO, Bihia police station, said that Suman Devi was in love with Loknath Ram of Bara Kharauni village and tied knot with him later. She had two children. Suman Devi had come to her in-laws’s place on June 14, 2020. Her husband quarrelled with her on trivial issues and so she left the house along with her children on June 15 morning and went to a school at the village where she consumed some poison and committed suicide.. Locals said that Suman Devi had gone to Bihia with her children and consumed poison on her return near a school and committed suicide.
