Saharsa : Three employees of District Rural Development Agency (DRDA), Saharsa, tested positive to Coronavirus (COVID-19) on June 9, 2020, creating ripples in the administrative circle here. Saharsa DM Kaushal Kumar on June 10, 2020, confirmed that three DRDA employees had tested Coronavirus positive. He said that treatment of Coronavirus patients had started at Saharsa Sadar Hospital as Tuenat machine has been installed here.

The DRDA office is located at Jawahar Vikas Bhavan, Saharsa, and the entire building has been sanitised after the three employees tested positive to COVID-19. A meeting to discuss flood protection work, which was to be held at Vikas Bhavan, has been stayed. DRDA employees and employees of other offices located at the building did not come to their respective offices on June 10. Officials and employees who had come in contact with these three COVID-19 positive employees are reportedly under home quarantine.
