Sasaram : A student Priyanshu, 18, committed suicide by hanging himself to the ceiling of a room at his house at village Bhaluary under Indrapuri police station in Rohtas district on June 4, 2020, late evening. His matriculation exam result, which was declared recently, was not satisfactory.
Police brought the body over to Sasaram Sadar Hospital for post-mortem and are also investigating the matter. SHO, Indrapuri police station, said that Priyanshu of village Bhaluary in Rohtas district had taken matriculation examination this year and was expecting good result but he secured only second division at the examination that shocked him very much and was under depression ever since thinking he would not be able to get admission in a good college and, finally, committed suicide by hanging himself to the ceiling of a room at his house at the village.
