Motihari : Two persons were killed and three others sustained serious injuries when a car they were travelling by jumped
the road divider and dashed a truck in another lane near Dumariyaghat under same police station on NH 28 in East Champaran District on June 4, 2020.
The injured persons were admitted to a private nursing home at Motihari. The condition of one of them is critical. According to police sources , the deceased were identified as Rajani Kant Sharma, owner of the car, and Akhilesh Paswan of Gawandri village under Kotawa police station.
It is said that Rajani Kant Sharma with four others were going to Thawe in Gopalganj District by car. He was himself driving the
car. The NH 28 has developed big potholes and ditches in 10 km stretch between Kotawa and Dumariyaghat and in a bid to steer clear of ditches Rajani Kant Sharma lost control over the vehicle. Police have lodged a case in connection with the incident.
