Patna : Conronavirus (COVID-19) confirmed cases surged to 4,049 in Bihar on June 2, 2020, afternoon, with 104 more persons including 18 from Purnia, 12 from Araria, 17 from Lakhisarai, six each from Patna and Bhagalpur, and seven Madhepura District testing positive to the disease. Twenty-four persons have died due to Coronaviris in Bihar so far.
In Purnia, 10 cases were reported from Purnia East, two each from Dhamdaha and Dagarua, one each from Bhawanipur, Rupauli, Amour, and Barhara Kothi. In neighbouring Araria District, six cases were reported from Forbesganj, two from Jokihat, and one each from Araria Sadar, Murballa, Bhargama, and Dhubanta. In Lakhisarai, six cases were reported from Suryagarha, six from Halsi, one each from Kachhiyana, Garhi Bishanpur, Lakhisarai town, Filgaura, Gunsagar, and Chanan.
In Patna District, four cases were reported from Bakhtiyarpur and two from Patna town. In Samastipur District in North Bihar, four cases were reported from Patori, one from Mohiuddinnagar. In Madhepura, five cases were reported from Kumarkhand and one each from Murliganj and Sahugarh. In Kishanganj, three cases were reported from Pothia and one from Kishanganj.
