Patna: Four persons have been arrested in connection with murder of a youth Pintoo Kumar at village Pothani under Punpun police station in Patna District on May 27,2020.
The deceased’s father Chandraveer Prasad alias Basu Yadav had lodged an FIR with police station concerned in this connection. Taking serious note of the incident, Patna Senior SP (SSP) Upendra Sharma constituted a special team under leadership of City SP,
East. The special team arrested one Raushan Kumar, a relative of the deceased, and after his interrogation arrested Vishal Kumar, Dharmveer Kumar alias Loha, and Pawan Kumar. Police said that reason behind the murder was illicit relation of deceased and Raushan Kumar with one of their relatives.
Patna SSP Upendra Sharma said that police also recovered a countrymade pistol used in the crime, two magazines, seven live cartridges, two bikes besides four cellphones.
