Patna : Coronavirus (COVID-19) confirmed cases jumped to 3,945 in Bihar with 138 more persons including 13 from Khagaria, 10 from Katihar, nine from East Champaran, nine from Supaul, five Madhubani testing positive to it on June 1, 2020. The new patients are in 1-65 age group and local authorities are ascertaining their infection trail. Coronavirus death toll stands at 23 in Bihar. Altogether 1,741 patients have been cured.

One case was reported from Patna too while three cases each were reported from Kishanganj, Madhepura, Saran, Banka, and Gopalganj. Eight cases were reported from Siwan District, four from Nawada, four from Gaya,  and two from Samastipur District. Fourteen cases  s were reported from Darbhanga District in North Bihar including seven from Jale, .

In Katihar, six cases were reported from Azamnagar, and one each from Kadwa, Kursela, barari, and Katihar. InEeast Champaran District, nine cases were reported from Paharpur. In Madhuabni District, five cases were reported from Rajnagar. In Supaul District, two cases each were reported from Bhaptiyahi, Chhatapur, and Basantpur, and one each from Saraigarh Bhaptiyahi, Kishanpur, and Jedia. In Jehanabad, two cases were reported from Makhdumpur and one from Kako.

In Khagaria, three cases each were reported from Mansi and Khagaria, two each from Parbatta, Chautham, and Alauli Beldaur,  and one from Gogri.
