Patna : Coronavirus (COVID-19) confirmed cases surged to 3,509 in Bihar at 1.30 pm on May 30, 2020, with 150 persons including 19 from Begusarai, 17 from Darbhanga, 15 from Sheikhpura, 13 from Bhojpur, eight from Muzaffarpur, testing positive to it. The new patients are in 2-86 year age group and the authorities concerned are looking into their infection trail.

In Sheikhpura District, 8 cases were reported from Ariyari, four from Sheikhpura, two from Chewara, and one from Barbigha. In Begusarai District, eight cases were reported from Begusarai Town, five from Bakhri, two from Barauni, and one each from Dandari, Sahebpur Kamal, Balia, and Matihani.

In Madhepura District, three cases were reported from Kumarkhand, three from Uda Kishanganj,  and one each from Singheshwar,  Chausa, Bihariganj, and Gamhariya.

In Darbhanga District, five cases were reported from Jale, three cases each were reported from Bahadurpur, Keoti Runway, Kusheshwarsthan, and Kiratpur. In Muzaffarpur District, four cases were reported from Mushahari, three Muraul, and one from Bochahan.

In Kishanganj, two cases were reported from Bahadurganj, one each from Pothia, Thakurganj and Kishanganj. In Araria District, two cases each were reported from Araria town and Kursakanta, and one each from Narpatganj, Sikti, Jokihat, and Forbesganj.

In Bhojpur District, 12 cases were reported from Ara Town and one from Garhani. In Rohtas, three cases were reported from Sasaram while in Kaimur two cases were reported from Bhabhua.

In Jehanabad, four cases were reported from Jehanabad Town, two from Ghosi. In Gaya District, two cases were reported from Belaganj, and one each from Nanpur, Guraru, and Paraiya. In Siwan, four cases were reported from Goreakothi, two from Raghunathpur, and one from Panchrukhi.

In Patna, two cases was reported from Patna and one from Dhanarua. In Nalanda District, two cases were reported from Nagarnausa and one from Ekangarsarai. In Saharsa, two cases were reported from Patarghat. In Munger, three cases were reported from Munger, two from Asarganj, and one from Jamalpur.
