Patna : Coronavirus (COVID-19) confirmed cases climbed to 3,359 in Bihar at 10.10 pm on May 29, 2020, with 84 more persons including 24 from Bhagalpur, 10 from Kaimur, eight from Purnia, eight from Bhojpur, and seven from Madhubani district  testing positive to the disease.

Four cases from Patna, three from Banka, two each from Aurangabad, Nawada and Nalanda, and one each from Arwal, Bhagalpur, Kishanganj, Samastipur, Rohtas,Khagaria, and Araria were also reported on the day. In all, 174 persons tested COVID-19 positive in Bihar on May 29. The new patients are in 2-72 year age group and the local authorities are looking into their infection trail.

In Bhagalpur, seven cases were reported from Sabour, seven from Jagdishpur, and five from Goradih. two from Rangrachowk, two from Kahalgaon, and one from Pirpainti. In Bhojpur, six cases were reported from Garhani and  one each from Ara and Tarari. In Nalanda, two cases were reported from Ekangarsarai while two caxses were reported from Hisua in Nawada. In Aurangabad, one case each was reported from Madanpur and Obra.

In Kaimur, four cases were reported from Bhabhua, two from Karadi, three from Dubauli, and one from Chand. In Banka, one case each was reported from harpur, Chanan, and Bahera.

In Madhubani, seven cases were reported from Khajauli. In Patna district, four cases were reported from Patna itself
