Patna : Ninety more persons including 19 from Jehanabad, 17 from Sheikhpura, eight from Gopalganj, and seven from Madhubani District tested positive to Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Bihar on May 29, 2020, taking the total to 3,275 in the state. Coronavirus death toll in Bihar stands at 15.
Five persons from Purnia, four each Jamui and Samastipur, three each from Bhojpur, Lakhisarai, Gaya and Khagaria, two each from Banka and Aurangabad, and one each from Patna, Saran, Buxar, Nawada, Munger, and Vaishali also tested positive to Coronavirus.
In Jehanabad, five cases were reported from Makhdumpur, four from Hulasganj, three each from Mathiya and Salempur, one each from Salarpur, Erki, Pakri, and Gonwan. In Sheikhpura, eight cases were reported from Ariari, three from Chewara, two from Barbigha, two from Purankama, and one each from Shekhopur Sarai and Ghatkushumba.
In Gopalganj District, two cases were reported from Bantaria and one each from Hussepur, Bhalui, Dharahara, Kateya, Hathwa, and Panchdevri. In Madhubani District, five cases were reported from Phulparas, and one case each from Rajnagar and Babubarahi. In Purnia, four cases were reported from Srinagar and one from Barhara Kothi.
In Khagaria, three cases were reported from Mansi while in Munger one case was reported from Asarganj. In Aurangabad, one case each was reported from Daudnagar and Nabinagar. In Banka, one case each was reported from Barhat and Amarpur. In Lakhisarai, one case each was reported from Barahiya, Ramgarh Chowk, and Suryagarha. In Vaishali, one case was reported from Sahdei Buzurg while in Saran one case was recorded in Maker.
In Jamui, three cases were reported from Khaira and one from Gidhour. In Samastipur, two cases were reported from Jitwarpur, and one each from Warisnagar and Kalyanpur. In Gaya, two cases were reported from Mohanpur and one from Konch. In Bhojpur, one case was recorded at Ara and two at Jagdishpur. In Buxar, one case was reported from Itarhi.
