Patna : Forty-three more persons including ten from Saharsa, eight from Patna, seven from Madhubani, and six from Bhojpur districts tested positive to Coronavirus (COVID-19) at 6.30 pm on May 25, 2020, taking the total to 2,686 in Bihar. The new patients are in 13-54 year age group and the local authorities are looking into their infection trail. In all, 112 persons tested positive to Coronavirus on the day. Coronavirus death toll is 13 in Bihar till date.
In Saharsa District in North Bihar, three cases were reported from Navtoliya, three from Kahra, two from Basti, and one each from Samda and Roopnagar. In Madhubani District, one case each was reported from Laukahi, Amchiri, Jhitaki, and Harinagar, and three from Hasanpur. In Bhagalpur, one case each was reported from Nathnagar, Jagdishpur, and Sabour. One case each was reported from Bhelba, Raghopur, and Triveniganj in Supaul District in North Bihar.
In Patna District, four cases were reported from Bikram, and one each from Samanpura, Lodipur, Dulhin Bazar, and Mokama. In Bhojpur District, six cases were reported from Jagdishpur. In Arwal, one case each was reported from Rampur Chauram, Prasadi Enlish, and Motha. Two cases were reported from Siwan and one from Deepnagar in Nalanda District.
Meanwhile, the total number of Coronavirus confirmed cases rose to 1,38,845 on May 25, 2020. The number of cases under active medical supervision is 77,103. A total of 57,720 people has been cured so far. In the last 24 hours, 3,280 patients were found cured. The total recovery rate is 41.57%.
