Patna : Coronavirus (COVID-19) confirmed cases climbed to 2,105 in Bihar on May 22, 2020, evening, with 118 more persons including 34 from Madhubani, 18 from Katihar, 17 from Begusarai, 10 from Samastipur, 9 from Gopalganj, 8 from Patna districtw testing positive to the disease on the day. Six positive cases were reported from Saran and five from Khagaria districts in North Bihar.
Three COVID-19 confirmed cases were reported from Nawada, two from Madhepura District, and one case each from Vaishali, East Champaran, Supaul, and Arwal Districts. The COVID-19 death toll in Bihar stands at 11 till date.
Meanwhile, the total number of COVID-19 confirmed cases in India has surged to 1,18,447 .The number of cases under active medical supervision is 66,330. So far, a total of 48,533 people have been cured. In the last 24 hours, 3,234 patients were found cured. This takes the total recovery rate to 40.98%.
