Patna : Thirty-three new Coronavirus (COVID-19) confirmed cases in 16 from Madhubani and five from Muzaffarpur Districts in North were reported on May 17, 2020, late night, taking the total to jumped to 1,284 in Bihar. Three confirmed cases each were reported from East Champaran, Buxar, and Arwal Districts while two cases were reported from Kaimur District and one from Sitamarhi. In all, 91 confirmed cases of Coronavirus werec reported till 11 pm on May 17, 2020.
In Madhubani District, eight confirmed cases were reported from Khutauna, two from Phulparas, and six from Jhanjharpur. In Muzaffarpur, two confirmed cases were reported from Muraul and one each from Sakra, Mushari, and Paru. In East Champaran, two cases were reported from Sadar, Motihari, and one from Turkaulia. One case was reported from Parihar in Sitamarhi District.
In Kaimur, two confirmed cases were reported from Bhabhua while two cases from Fakahrpur and one from Hasanpur were reported in Arwal District. In Buxar, two cases were reported from from Brahmpur and one from Chandrapura.
