Sitamarhi : Sitamarhi district administration is quite alert about moving discrepancies, if any, in the functioning of quarantine centres including food and lodging, said DM Abhilasha Kumari Sharma.
DM Sharma said that all the Circle Officers (COs) had been instructed to adhere to the specific norms and rules or face action. CO, Dumra Block, was recently shifted after his alleged lack of sincerity surfaced during the fight with COVID-19.
The DM and SP along with officials on May 15, 2020, inspected several quarantine centres in the district where migrant workers are staying. Physical instructors have also been deputed for Yoga and other exercises besides other daily activities at these centres. The DM distributed job cards among migrant workers at Bajpatti.
