Patna : Coronavirus (COVID-19) confirmed cases jumped to 830 in Bihar on May 12, 2020, evening, with 29 more persons including 14 from West Champaran District and 6 from BMP-14, Khajpura, Patna, testing positive to the disease.

Of the 14 cases from West Champaran, 13 were reported from Nautan and one from Narkatiaganj. In Patna, six confirmed cases were reported from BMP-14. Three confirmed cases were also reported from Muzaffarpur District, two fromĀ  Aurangabad, and one each from Bhojpur, Arwal, and Katihar districts. Altogether 81 persons tested positive to Coronavirus in Bihar on May 12, 2020.

Meanwhile, on the direction of Bihar CM NItish Kumar and Health Minister Mangal Pandey 15 truenat machines are being installed at different places to decentralise and speed up testing of samples. Twenty-five more machines are in the pipeline.
