Patna : Thirty-four more persons including 13 from Rohtas, 11 from Khagaria, and 3 from Madhubani district tested positive to Coronavirus (COVID-19) on May 12, 2020, evening, taking the total to 801 in Bihar. Two persons from Gopalganj and one each from Patna, Saran, Bhagalpur, Purnia, and Siwan also tested COVID-19 positive. These 34 patients are in 12-56 year age group. The Government is looking into their infection trail.
Of the 13 COVID-19 positive cases from Rohtas, five were reported from Chenari, 3 from Kochas, 2 from Sanjouli, and one each from Sasaram, Bairidandh, and Pithphorwa. Of the 11 cases from Khagaria, 9 confirmed cases were reported from Alaouli and one each from Chautham and Gogri. Five persons from Khagaria including four from Beldaur and one from Chautham had tested Coronavirus positive earlier in the day. One person from Banka district had also tested positive. Of the three cases from Madhubani, two were reported from Khutauna and one from Ghoghardiha. So far 52 persons have tested COVID-19 positive on May 12, 2020, in the state.
