Patna : Coronavirus (COVID-19) jumped to 611 in Bihar on May 9, 2020, late night, with 16 more persons including 12 persons from Begusarai and five persons from Rohtas Districts testing positive to the disease. In fact, 37 more persons have tested Coronavirus positive since May 8, 2020, late night. The Government is looking into their infection trail. Muzaffarpur District reported three COVID-19 confirmed cases.

Of the 12 confirmed cases reported from Begusarai District in North Bihar, four were reported from Garhpura, three from Bakhri. Of the three new confirmed cases from Rohtas district, two were reported from Pahleja and one from New Gangoll taking the total to 59 in the district. Munger district also reported two new COVID-19 confirmed cases, both from Kharagpur, taking the total to 104 in the district. Vaishali, Khagaria, Arwal, Siwan, and Bhojpur districts too reported one case each.
