Buxar : Police claim to have cracked the mystery behind the murder of a three year old boy at village Nagpura under Simari police station in Buxar District on May 4, 2020, by arresting four persons in this connection.

An FIR has been lodged with Simari police station against six persons including the mother of the deceased in this connection. The illicit relation of the woman was said to be the cause behind the incident. The arrested miscreants were identified as Rahul Kumar, Rohit Kumar, Kanhaiya Yadav, and Ramu Kumar of Nagpura village under Simari police station in Buxar district.

Buxar SP Upendra Nath Verma on May 6, 2020, said that some miscreants had kidnapped a 3 year old boy Reyansh from Nagpura village under Simari police station in Buxar district on May 3, 2020, and later killed the boy, and threw the body just near his house at Nagpura village the next day from where police recovered the body.

The SP said that during interrogation, the miscreants revealed that the woman allegedly had illicit relation with Rahul Kumar and Reyansh was Rahul Kumar’s son. Meanwhile, marriage of Rahul Kumar was settled somewhere but Reyansh’s mother pressurised him to cancel the marriage saying that Reyansh was his son and if he did not pay heed to her, she would reveal her relation with him. She had also threatened to go for DNA test to confirm that Reyansh was Rahul Kumar’s son, the SP added.

Rahul Kumar disclosed before police that he was under tension and so he kidnapped Reyansh and killed him with the help of Rohit Kumar, Kanhaiya Yadav, and Ramu Kumar.
