Sasaram : Some unidentified armed miscreants shot dead a farmer at Sukahara Dehari under Nasariganj police station in Rohtas district on May 4, 2020, night. An FIR has been lodged with Nasariganj police station in this connection. Police are investigating into the incident. The deceased was identified as Gajendra Singh, 45, son of late Lalmuni Singh of village Sukahara Dehari. The reason behind the murder is still to be ascertained.
SHO, Nasariganj police station, Raj Kumar said that three motorcycle borne armed miscreants came at around 9pm on May 4, 2020, when farmer Gajendra Singh was at his house at village Sukahara Dehari and called him. When Gajendra Singh came out of his house, the miscreants pumped three bullets into his chest and escaped. Hearing the sound of gunshot, nephew of the deceased, Ashutosh alias Laddu raised an alarm. At his call, the villagers rushed to the spot and also chased the miscreants but they escaped taking cover of the darkness.
