Patna : If the 1st of May was dedicated by the entire world to honour the global work force, India has dedicated May 3, 2020, to honouring the nation’s Doctors, Paramedics, Health Workers, Policemen and the millions of workers attached with them. In a rare gesture and a novel method of honouring the civilian front liners fighting the CORONA Pandemic, the Indian Armed Forces Salute these Indian CORONA Warriors today!
Our Air Force, our Navy and our Army are creating history today. They are going to shower flower petals over a large number of Hospitals, Health Centres, Police Memorials etc. through Helicopters. Our Air Force planes are to carry out several march pasts across the nation. Our Navy is going to light up Ships and other vessels in the evening. Many more activities are lined up. All of them to salute the Policemen, Health Service Personnel and related CORONA Warriors.
One is reminded of the “Jai Jawaan, Jai Kisan” slogan given by Late Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri. The activities being undertaken today may be called “Jai CORONA Yoddha” by our Jawaans.
This is the way to cheer up our great CORONA Warriors. They have made India proud. Without worrying for their own well-being, without worrying even for their lives, these CORONA Warriors have worked tirelessly and selflessly over the past months. The nation has appropriately decided to honour them in this unique manner.
We must remember – “A PERSON WHO FEELS APPRECIATED WILL ALWAYS DO MORE THAN WHAT IS EXPECTED”
May 3, 2020, shall remain embedded in golden letters in the history of India’s fight against the CORONA Pandemic.
