Sitamarhi : The number of Coronavirus (COVID-19) confirmed cases increased to six in Sitamarhi District in North Bihar on April 30, 2020, with four persons testing positive to the disease on the day.
The six COVID confirmed patients include two women one of whom belonging to Pupri Sub-Division had been admitted to a Patna Hospital 15 days back for treatment of cancer. Five of these patients had either returned from Ghaziabad or Mumbai. Sitamarhi district administration officials led by DM Abhilasha Kumari Sharma and SP Anil Kumar visited the areas concerned under Nanpur and Bokhara blocks an and gotthem sealed.
