Saharsa : Police cracked the case of loot of Rs 2.35 lakh cash from an employee of a Drug Agency Pawan Kumar near Shahpur Navtolia on Sonbarsha -Baidyanathpur Main Road in Saharsa District on April 24, 2020, by arresting four criminals and recovering Rs 1.43 lakh looted cash, 2 cellphones, a bike without registration number from their possession on April 26, 2020. Pawan Kumar is an employee of Shiv Shakti Drug Agency.
All the four arrested criminals, who are residents of areas under Sonbarsha Raj Police Station in Saharsa District, were sent to jail. Police had lodged an FIR in this connection on the statement of Pawan Kumar on April 25.
SDPO, Simribakhtiarpur, Mridula Kumari, headed the team which cracked the case by first arresting Golu alias Satyam from Singheshwar area in Madhepura District and on his revelation arresting three more criminals : Raushan Yadav, Satyam Singh, and Daulat Singh, and seized Rs 1.43 lakh cash, two mobile phones, and a bike from their possession, said Saharsa SP Rakesh Kumar at a presser at his chamber on April 27, 2020.
The probe team comprised SI Akmal Hussain, SHO, SonbarshaRaj Police Station, SI Shwetkamal, SHO, Basnahi police station, SI Vinod Kumar, and SI Manglesh Kumar Madhukar, Incharge, Technical Cell.
