Sitamarhi : Six unidentified borne criminals riding three bikes shot at and injured two persons : Sunil Kumar and Vivek Kumar, on NH 77 near village Bela under Sonbarsa block in Sitamarhi District in North Bihar on April 27, 2020. Both the injured persons are residents of same village and were going to their wheat field for harvesting.
The criminals fled away towards Sitamarhi after the incident. The villagers attributed the incident to a protracted land dispute at the village. Sunil allegedly has criminal antecedents whereas Vivek is a minor. They have been admitted to a nursing home at Sitamarhi Town. None has been arrested in this connection so far. Police remain clueless about the identity and whereabouts of the six criminals involved in firing at Sunil Kumar and Vivek Kumar.
