Ranchi (Jharkhand) : Six persons including a senior nurse of Ranchi Sadar hospital tested Coronavirus (COVID-19) positive on April 26, 2020, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in Jharkhand to 73 of which 3 have died including 2 from Ranchi and one from Bokaro.

This information was given by Health Secretary, Jharkhand, Nitin Kulkarni, who informed that despite an addition of few casesĀ  from the capital, the situation is well under full control. According to the officials, more than two dozen persons from Dhanbad, Bokaro, Hazaribagh, and Ranchi have recovered.

Hindpiri locality in Ranchi still remains the hot spot of COVID-19 as 3 persons of Hindpiri tested positive while others were from Piska Mor and Lowadih area of the capital. Ranchi has reported 25 confirmed cases of Coronavirus while Bokaro has reported 10 such cases.
