Patna : The number of Coronavirus (COVID-19) confirmed cases jumped to 176 in Bihar at 5 pm on April 24, 2020, while two persons had earlier died due to the disease in the state. The number of patients cured/discharged has increased to 46 in the state.
COVID-19 has spread to 14 districts of Bihar. They include Siwan (29 cases), Nalanda (28), Munger (20), Begusarai (9), Patna (7), Gaya (5), Buxar (4), Gopalganj (3), Nawada (3). Bhojpur, Bhagalpur, Lakhisarai, Saran, and Vaishali Districts have reported one confirmed case each, according to Union H & FW Ministry.
Jharkhand has reported 55 confirmed cases of COVID-19 while 3 persons have died due to the disease in the state. The number of those cured/discharged stands at 8 in Jharkhand. Ranchi has reported 25 confirmed cases so far while Bokaro has reported 10 confirmed cases. Hazaribagh has reported 3 confirmed cases and Dhanbad & Simdega two each.
