Ara : Bhojpur police on April 22, 2020, arrested two miscreants from Jawahar Tola under Nawada police station, Ara, for allegedly firing and injuring two persons in the afternoon on April 21, 2020.
Police also seized a regular gun, a pistol, and live cartridges from their possession. The arrested miscreants were identified as Fulan Mian and his son Sunny of Jawahar Tola under Nawada police station.
Bhojpur SP Sushil Kumar said that police had sealed Jawahar Tola locality under Nawada police station after a Coronavirus positive patient was found in Bhojpur district. On April 21, 2020, afternoon, some persons of the area were trying to cross or remove the barriers that invited anger of another group of the area. During the ensuing tussle, some miscreants of a group reached there on motorcycle and shot at and injured Binod Paswan and Sunil Paswan and escaped. Later, a named FIR was lodged with Nawada police station against Fulan Mian and his son Sunny of the same area in connection with the incident.
