Ara : With the arrest of two miscreants on April 22, 2020, Bhojpur police claimed to have cracked the case of murder of a man Rahul Goswami of village Osai under Bihia police station on April 8, 2020.
The arrested miscreants were identified as Niket Kumar alias Deepu and Santan Kumar of Osai village under Bihia police station. Police sent them to jail after interrogation. Niket Kumar was arrested from Osai village while Santan Kumar was arrested from his maternal uncle’s village at Bibiganj under Gajrajganj police outpost.
SHO, Bihia police station, said that Rahul Goswami, son of Suryanath Goswami of Osai village under Bihia police station, was allegedly in love with a girl of the same village while the girl had an affair with another youth of the village. Some persons decoyed Rahul Goswami from his house and took him to the outskirts of the village where they shot him dead on April 8, 2020. An FIR was lodged with Bihia police station in this regard. Police investigated the matter and arrested Niket Kumar and Snatan Kumar and sent them to jail.
