New Delhi : Coronavirus (COVID-19) death toll climbed to 507 in India including 201 in Maharashtra, 69 in Madhya Pradesh (MP), 48 in Gujarat, 42 in Delhi, at 8 am on April 19, 2020, with 19 new deaths being reported since the last update issued by Union Health & Family Welfare Ministry on April 18, 2020, evening.
Bihar and Jharkhand have reported 2 deaths each due to Coronavirus so far while Telangana has reported 18 deaths, Tamilnadu and Andhra Pradesh 15 each, Karnataka and Punjab 13 each, UP 14, West Bengal 10, and J&K 5. Bihar has so far reported 85 confirmed cases of Coronavirus while Jharkhand has reported 33 confirmed cases of the disease.
In a significant development, the number of Coronavirus patients cured/discharged after recovery has jumped to 2,230 in the country including 331 in Maharashtra, 283 in Tamilnadu, 255 in Kerala, and 186 in Telangana while the number of active cases is 12,974.
