New Delhi : The number of Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) conformed cases surged to 6,04,070 including 25,802 new cases in USA on April 16, 2020, according WHO Situation Report -87 on COVID-19. The COVID-19 death toll in USA has jumped to 25,871 including 2,395 new deaths.
Italy had reported 1,65,155 Coronavirus confirmed cases till April 16, 2020, including 2,667 new cases while the death toll due to the disease in the country climbed to 21,647 including 578 new deaths. Covid-19 death toll in Spain, which had reported 1,77,633 confirmed cases till April 16, 2020, including 5,092 new cases, had reached 18,579 on the day including 523 new deaths.
Coronavirus death toll in France, which had reported 1,05,155 confirmed cases till April 16, had soared to 17,146 including 1,438 new deaths. COVID-19 death toll in UK had reached 12,868 on the day including 761 new deaths.
China had reported 83,797 coronavirus confirmed cases till April 16, 2020, while 3,352 persons had died due to it in the country.
