Bokaro ( Jharkhand) : With two persons from Sadam under Gomia block in Bokaro District testing positive for novel Coronavirus, the total number of Covid–19 cases in Jharkhand climbed to 19 on April 13, 2020. Jharkhand Health Ministry has also confirmed two deaths due to the disease in the state. One death in the state was reported from Bokaro General Hospital(BGH) and another at RIMS, Ranchi.
The two new patients testing positive for Coronavirus are close relatives of a resident of Sadam who had recently died due to the disease. Giving this information, Bokaro Civil Surgeon Dr A K Pathak told this scribe on April 13 that the two persons testing positive for Coronavirus remained in close contact with an infected persons for several days before he died at BGH.
