New Delhi : Coronavirus death toll surged to 324 in India at 5 pm on April 13, 2020, with 16 new deaths reported in last 9 hours in the country. The number of Coronavirus active cases has jumped to 8,048 in India while the number of cured/discharged patients increased to 979 including 217 in Maharashtra.
Maharashtra has so far reported 1,985 confirmed cases while the death toll due to the disease in the state is 149. Delhi has reported 24 deaths while Gujarat has reported 25 deaths.
Madhya Pradesh (MP) has reported 564 confirmed cases while 36 patients have died to the disease in the state. Tamilnadu and Punjab have reported 11 deaths each while Telangana has reported 9 deaths.
Andhra Pradesh and West Bengal have reported 7 deaths each while UP has reported 5 COVID-19 deaths. Karnataka has reported 6 deaths, J&K 4, and Rajasthan and Haryana 3 deaths each.
Kerala and Jharkhand have reported 2 deaths each while Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, Odisha have reported 1 death each.
