New Delhi : Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) death toll shot up to 16,596 in USA on April 11, 2020, including 1,931 new deaths while the number of Coronavirus confirmed cases rose to 4,61,275 including 35,386 new cases, according to WHO Situation Report-82 on COVID-19.
The Coronavirus death toll in Italy, which had reported 1,47,577 confirmed cases including 3,951 new cases till April 11, 2020, surged to 18,851 including 570 new deaths. The COVID-19 death toll in UK, which accounted for 70,276 confirmed cases on the day including 5,195 new cases, had climbed to 8,958 including 980 new deaths.
In Spain, which had reported 1,57,022 coronavirus confirmed cases including 4,576 new cases till April 11, the death toll due to the disease jumped to 15,843 including 605 new deaths. Coronavirus death toll in France, which had reported 89,683 confirmed cases till April 11, soared to 13,179 including 987 new deaths, according to WHO Situation Report.
COVID-19 death toll in Belgium had reached 3,019 on April 11 including 496 new deaths while in Netherlands the death toll has climbed to 2,511 including 115 new deaths. Germany, which accounted for 1,17,658 confirmed cases, had reported 2,544 deaths due to Coronavirus till April 11 including 171 new deaths.
China had reported 8,33,699 Coronavirus confirmed cases including 64 new cases till April 11 while the death toll due to the disease was 3,349 including 4 new deaths. Pakistan had reported 4,788 confirmed cases on the day while the death toll had reached 71 including 5 new deaths.
