New Delhi : Coronavirus death toll increased to 114 in India at 9 am on April 7, 2020, with 3 new deaths, all from Rajasthan, being reported since the last update on April 6, 2020, evening. The number of patient cured/discharged from hospitals after recovery has jumped to 325 in the country, a major development. The number of Coronavirus active cases is 3,981 in the country while one patient has migrated.
Among the States and UTs, Maharashtra has reported 45 deaths so far followed by Gujarat with 12 deaths and Madhya Pradesh (MP) 9. Delhi and Telangana have reported 7 deaths each while Punjab has reported 6 deaths and Tamilnadu 5. Karnataka has reported 4 deaths while UP, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, and Rajasthan have reported 3 deaths each. J&K and Kerala account for 2 deaths each. Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, and Haryana have reported 1 death each.
Maharashtra has so far reported 748 confirmed cases followed by Tamildanu with 621 cases. Delhi has reported 523 active cases while Kerala has reported 327 such cases. Bihar accounts for 32 confirmed cases while UP has reported 305 cases.
