New Delhi : All Major Ports and Public Sector Undertakings under Ministry of Shipping have decided to contribute over Rs.52 Crore as CSR fund to ‘Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations Fund’ (PM CARES Fund) which has been created to provide relief to Coronavirus ( COVID-19) pandemic affected people.
Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, has donated Rs 16.40 crore while Deendayal Port Trust, Gujarat & Paradip Port Trust, Odisha, have donated Rs 8 crore each to PM CARES Fund, according to a PIB release. New Mangalore Port Trust & Kamarajar Port Limited, Tamilnadu, have donated Rs 4 crore each while Kolkata Port Trust and Mumbai Port Trust have donated Rs 1 crore each, according to a PIB release.
